Restore an earlier backup

Before you restore

Create a manual backup first if you want to keep a copy of your current world.

Restoring a backup replaces your whole world, including changes made through Files. If you have world files on your computer instead of a backup listed here, follow Upload an existing world.

Choose your restore point

1. Open Backups and select a backup in the History table.
2. Check its Requested date and time.
3. Choose Restore backup, then confirm.
4. Check the Overview page and wait for the restore to finish before rejoining the server.

Troubleshooting

Cannot find an older backup?

Older backups are replaced when their retention limit is reached. Open Retention on the Backups page to check the limits, or see the Check your backup limit section.
