Invite someone to help manage your server and choose what they can do.
Invite someone
Only the server owner can invite people, change their permissions, or remove their access. Billing remains under the owner’s control.
- Open Members.
- Choose Invite someone and enter their Email address.
- Choose their permissions, then choose Send invitation.
They’ll receive an email invitation that expires after seven days. They can create an account when they accept.
Choose permissions
Everyone you invite has View access, including access to server passwords. Leave the other permissions off to give someone view-only access.

To let someone upload a world or manage world files independently, also enable Start, stop & restart. Uploads, downloads, and file changes require the server to be stopped.
Accept an invitation
- Open the link in your invitation email.
- Choose Sign in to accept, or Create one if you need an account. Use the email address the invitation was sent to.
- Choose Accept invitation to open the server.
On a shared server, choose Shared in the server header to see your permissions. Ask the owner if you need different access.
Change someone’s permissions
- Open Members and choose View next to the person.
- Change their permissions, then choose Save changes.
You can also change permissions before an invitation is accepted.
Remove someone’s access
- Open Members and choose View next to the person.
- Choose Remove access, then confirm.
Troubleshooting
Invitation expired or link no longer working?
Ask the owner to open Members, choose View next to your invitation, then choose Resend invitation. Resending replaces the previous link and starts a new seven-day expiry period, so use the most recent email. If the owner removed your access, they’ll need to invite you again.
Signed in with a different email address?
Choose Switch account on the invitation page and sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to. To use a different address, ask the owner to send a new invitation to that address.
